A contemporary bistro in Notting Hill, designed to create a layered and immersive dining experience rooted in warmth, simplicity and atmosphere. Drawing on Mediterranean influences and classic European bistronomy, the scheme balances a more intimate, low-lit cocktail setting with a brighter, all-day dining space, each with its own distinct character while remaining visually cohesive.

Working as part of the design team, Alex Marrs Interiors contributed to the development of the interior concept, helping to shape the spatial experience, material palette and overall aesthetic direction. My role focused on creating a refined, pared-back environment that supports the client’s vision - allowing the food, the setting and the energy of the space to take centre stage, while ensuring the design feels both considered and effortless.
